The 13th Asian International Food Trade Exhibition is scheduled to be held in the coastal city of Yantai, East China's Shandong province, from June 29 to July 2.

This year’s fair will offer residents and visitors a feast of food and cultural. Covering 28,000 square meters, the event will provide 1,200 international-standard booths presenting food products in 16 categories, from imported food to time-honored Chinese products.

The fair is expected to attract around 3,200 enterprises and 200,000 visitors from countries in East Asia, including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as 27 provinces in China. The fair will also set up 17 province-featured zones, such as Sichuan, Jilin and Hunan.

More than 760 famous enterprises in China have signed up for the expo and over 190 professional purchasers and agencies have confirmed they will take apart.

The annual food trade fair provides an opportunity for Yantai to enhance international exchange and serves as an important platform for high-quality food enterprises from home and abroad to display their products.
