A group of 170 teachers and students from Pui Kiu Middle School in Hong Kong gathered at Taishan Mountain in Tai'an for a five-day tour of Shandong's history, culture, and economic development. Organized by Hong Kong's education bureau, the trip aims to deepen their students' sense of national identity through educational experiences.

This expedition was the largest inbound tourist group received by Taishan Mountain this year. It provided a valuable platform for Hong Kong youth to engage with Chinese civilization up close, fostering a deeper appreciation for the culture of their homeland and strengthening their sense of national pride.

Three more groups are scheduled to arrive in the future, ensuring Taishan Mountain continues to see more cultural heritage exchanges. This will contribute to a new chapter of cultural interaction between Hong Kong and the mainland.

Since 2024, Taishan Mountain has expanded its inbound tourism market with various initiatives. Promotional activities featuring culture and youth study tours have been conducted in Hong Kong, Macao, and Guangzhou, showcasing the unique charm and profound cultural heritage of Taishan Mountain. Additionally, incentive policies for inbound tourism have been introduced to support tour operators.
