Since the 36th Qingdao International Beer Festival kicked off, Qingdao West Coast New Area has used the international event as a platform to promote a series of activities featuring local agricultural products. Through a cross-sector integration model combining beer culture with local agricultural products, the event has brought specialty products closer to consumers and created new consumption opportunities at the festival.
At the Haiqing tea pop-up store, visitors lined up to try milk tea made with Haiqing tea. Fresh blueberry tea made from local blueberries also attracted attention with its refreshing flavor. By integrating traditional agricultural products with modern beverages, these products have gained popularity among younger consumers and challenged the traditional perception of agricultural products.
The outdoor agricultural products exhibition area also attracted many visitors. More than 10 types of specialty products, including Haiqing tea, blueberry products, Langya chicken and Lingshan Island sea cucumber, were showcased. Through tasting activities, visitors were able to experience the quality of local products firsthand. Meanwhile, online promotion was also carried out through livestreaming sessions, with a single broadcast attracting more than 100,000 viewers and helping expand sales channels.
The event reflects the area's efforts to promote agricultural development through festivals. By connecting local products with cultural events and new consumption scenarios, the area aims to enhance the influence of the agricultural product and support rural vitalization.
