Qingdao Posts and Telecommunications Museum is located at No 5 Anhui Road, which is the former site of a German post office.
The four-story building was established in 1901 and is the oldest post office building in Qingdao that still stands today.
The museum has a collection of more than 1,000 historical photos and items, including antique telephones from more than 20 countries in different eras.
The first floor also offers regular postal services, as well as a slow delivery service that allows people to write letters to loved ones and leave it in the museum's safe until their specified delivery date.
Over 40 varieties of postcards and 10 seals that feature Qingdao's scenery and iconic scenic spots are also available on the first floor for tourists.
The second and third floors are main exhibition halls that showcase Qingdao's post and telecommunication development history through historical pictures and items such as cellular phones, pagers and telegraph transmitters.
The fourth floor is an actual German-style attic, which now serves as a café and library. It is the only century-old wooden attic in Qingdao that is open to the public.
