Shangjieli beer fest revives Qingdao's cultural brilliance

The third Shangjieli Beer Festival, titled "Cheers to Qingdao, Stroll through the Old City", is being held from July 20 to Aug 11, enticing visitors to Qingdao's historical heart.
This year's festival is the first such festival to be held since the revitalization of Shinan district's historical city center, presenting the fruits of its protection and renewal efforts in a dynamic and multidimensional way.

A standout performance at the festival is the immersive dance drama A Hundred Years of Zhongshan Road, which artfully depicts the district's history and utilizes the old streets and courtyards as a stage, offering audiences an engaging experience at locations including Taiping Road, Huangdao Road, and the Zhongshan Road City Memory Museum.
