Qingdao's 7th Children's Drama Fest: A spectrum of fun

The 7th Qingdao Children's Drama Festival kicked off at the former site of the Belgian Consulate in Shinan district of Qingdao on June 15, featuring over ten vibrant children's plays and a variety of drama activities.

The festival offers performances and interactive activities like market strolling, drama interactions, painted fan making, artistic painting, and immersive DIY drama experiences, all included in one ticket.
The festival featured over ten outstanding children's plays from various regions in the country, with performances by prestigious troupes like the Taiyuan Drama Troupe, Zhejiang Children's Art Troupe, and China Welfare Institute Children's Art Theater. The showcased art forms included drama, dance, and Peking Opera.

Apart from the diverse plays, the festival featured a range of engaging activities such as drama workshops, performance competitions, summer camps, language grading, face painting workshops, Peking Opera experience classes, marine biology education sessions and other events designed to enrich the children's cultural experience.
