The Badaguan Scenic Area, situated in Shinan district of Qingdao, Shandong province, is currently experiencing some enchanting early-winter scenery.
There are 10 roads that intersect in the park, with eight of them named after the eight passes of the Great Wall, giving the park its name, Badaguan, which literally means "eight passes".
Late autumn and early winter are the best seasons for leaf-viewing, especially along Juyongguan Road and Jiayuguan Road, where ginkgo and maple leaves create a stunning display. Fallen leaves blanket the road in gold, attracting a steady flow of tourists.
