The 8th German Wine Festival, which ran from Sept 22 to 24 in Qingdao, had participants from various German-based companies and organizations nationwide. It was launched by Fritz Emrich, a German born in Pfalz, a region in Germany known as the "Homeland of German Wine".

Having been held seven times, Qingdao's Germany Wine Festival has become one of the most international folk celebrations in Shandong province.
Not only does it provide a platform for Qingdao residents to learn about German culture and customs, but it also offers foreigners the opportunity to learn about Qingdao.

The festival is co-hosted by the Qingdao China-Germany Cooperation Hub and the Wine529 brand.
The Qingdao China-Germany Cooperation Hub actively promotes the introduction of German technology, products and enterprises into China. It serves as a platform for facilitating exchanges and cooperation between China and Germany in Qingdao.
Wine529, the initiator of the German Wine Festival, is a well-known wine brand in Germany. It has been named "Best Importer of German Wines in China" for the past three years.
