Shinan district in Qingdao recently organized the 2023 Qingdao Wedding and Fashion Culture Expo to stimulate consumption and promote the development of the wedding and fashion market.

The opening ceremony of the expo, which featured top companies in the wedding and fashion industry from across the country, took place in Shinan district on Sept 12.

The expo spanned over three days and featured various activities such as industry expert visits, outdoor fashion trend shows, industry expert sharing and exchange meetings, resource promotions for the wedding industry in Shinan district, indoor fashion shows, a national wedding culture awards ceremony, and a wedding culture product theme exhibition.

During the expo, Shinan showcased its cultural and tourism wedding resources and also signed contracts with wedding and fashion companies.

Shinan district has been promoting the growth of the wedding and fashion industry in recent years. Efforts have been made to support local wedding and fashion brands and facilitate the creation of themed wedding and fashion projects by local companies.

Additionally, the district has focused on developing the supporting industries for weddings and travel. Nearly 100 trendy stores can now be found in the area, providing a wide range of activity options for couples. The district has also established iconic spots for romance such as Vows Square and Anna Villa.
