Jiaoji Railway Museum chronicles Qingdao's history

The Jiaoji (Qingdao-Jinan) Railway Museum, situated in Qingdao's Jiaozhou Bay, displays relics that show the progress of Qingdao's development, as well as the construction of its railway system.

In the early 20th century, Germany established two schools in Qingdao. One of them was the Tongji German Medical School, which later relocated to Shanghai and became Tongji University. The other was the Qingdao Special Higher Professional School.

In the 21st century, the Jiaoji Railway underwent a significant electrification transformation and the Jiaoji High-speed Railway and Jinan-Qingdao High-speed Railway were built.
