The district's cultural and tourism industry is being propelled by the "one-stop" wedding and travel service industrial chain. The industrial chain encompasses wedding planning, honeymoon tourism and wedding photography. Its development has contributed to the growth of the district's cultural and tourism sector.
Shinan district is capitalizing on its old city and integrating it with the wedding industry. This includes catering, accommodation, music and sightseeing. Additionally, a new travel route has been designed, featuring nine love declaration locations with unique exhibition pavilions, love-themed kiosks and mobile carts.
To boost the wedding industry, the district has been hosting the Qingdao Ocean Wedding Culture Week for several years. The event has boosted the industry through the implementation of creative marketing strategies and the convenient booking of on-site wedding services.
