Shandong embroidery, or "Luxiu", is one of the earliest styles of Chinese embroidery, earning it the accolade of the "Mother of All Embroideries". Representing Shandong province, Luxiu is part of China's prestigious "Eight Great Embroideries" list. Known for capturing the essence of the ink effects in Chinese paintings, Luxiu emphasizes the handcrafted nature of the art while honoring the historic works of renowned painters and calligraphers.
