Jazz enlivens Shinan's nights

Summer commences with the alluring "Drunken Jazz" night market, which opened on June 10 at the former Belgian consulate's courtyard in Shinan district, Qingdao city. This launch signifies the beginning of a series of vibrant "Drunken Jazz - Jazz Garden" events.
As the international jazz band RAM serenaded with bewitching melodies, onlookers revealed in captivating renditions of I Wanna Be Loved by You, Perfect and What a Wonderful World. These performances showcased the saxophone's mesmerizing appeal, a Belgian invention intrinsic to jazz music.
From June 10 onwards, the Sablon Café and Bar is scheduled to host mesmerizing "Drunken Jazz" performances every Thursday to Sunday, immersing visitors in the hypnotic fusion of Belgian culture, romance, delicious beer, and entrancing jazz music.
June 23 marks the official unveiling of the Jazz Garden brand at the former Belgian consulate, offering a captivating live music scene for residents and tourists till October. Acclaimed jazz artists are set to be invited for intermittent performances, accompanied by exclusive concert and wine-tasting experiences. The venue aims to become a beacon for jazz aficionados, breathing new life into the artistic district.
With the First Qingdao Jazz Festival's success in 2022, the Belgium-China Cultural and Art Association is busily organizing the 2nd Qingdao International Jazz Festival. A fresh round of exhilarating audio-visual experiences is scheduled for Oct 1, heightening anticipation among music lovers.
