Serving as the only place in China that made the list of "the most beautiful gulfs in the world", which was released by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Shinan boasts a long coastline and is home to many unique red reefs. Here are some ideal places to appreciate them.
Luxun Park enjoys the largest cluster of red reefs in Shinan. When viewed from a distance, the reefs look like strings of rubies in the sea.
Spanning two kilometers, the park has many ancient trees and a corridor that is inscribed with popular works of Luxun, a prestigious Chinese writer.

Located near Luxun Park, Small Qingdao Park is a spiral shell-shaped island, which is surrounded by red reefs.
At night, the red light beaming from the lighthouse on the island and the light given off by Zhanqiao Pier jitter atop the sea, which has been widely recognized as one of the "top 10 landscapes in Qingdao".
