Tourist spots in Shinan

A group of tourists from China's Hong Kong visited recently, and they praised Shinan as a place of romance, rich history and fashion. Listed below are the tourist spots that they highly recommend.
Anna Villa is a Baroque-style building that boasts a history of more than 120 years. Thanks to its romantic atmosphere created by decorations such as angel wings and walls covered with red roses, the villa now is an enchanting place for shutterbugs. At the villa, visitors can also read while sipping fragrant tea.

The Catholic Church in Qingdao, commonly known as St. Michael's Church, boasts the largest Gothic-style structure in the city and is surrounded by two towers. There is a spectacular medieval-style window above the gate, which visitors can see before entering the church.

Founded in 1920, Fuxingli consists of a cluster of Liyuan buildings and presents the shape of the letter "L" when looking at it from an aerial view. At Fuxingli, images of world-famous paintings, such as Mona Lisa, are reshaped as big cute dolls.

Boasting convenient transportation, Sanjiangli was once one of the three biggest guild halls in Qingdao. It gave birth to Qingdao’s education and stage performances, and has recorded the ups and downs of the city.
