Construction of projects in Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province, has been in full swing since the start of spring.
Covering an area of about 9,600 square meters, the shipping trade finance headquarters center, which is a commercial and residential complex with a height limit of 240 meters, has a total land area of about 89,000 square meters. It is expected that the construction of the underground main body will be completed by the end of this year.
The center, based on the "6+1" modern industrial layout, aims to attract enterprise headquarters in shipping, trade, finance and other industries.
Currently, office buildings serve as a vertical industrial ecosystem, and numerous office buildings in the region are expected to form a modern urban industrial park.
Shinan district gives up the traditional way that collects rent and property management fees in developing building economy, and plans to establish eight modern industrial parks with a revenue scale of more than 30 billion yuan ($4.4 billion). Leading enterprises involved in modern finance, high-end business and the digital economy plan to help boost the revitalization and development of the real economy.
On top of the newly-built projects, Shinan district has also given priority to renovating old buildings in order to create integrated innovative urban industrial parks.
