Themed on Shangjieli culture, Shinan will open a cultural festival during the Spring Festival holiday for the first time. From Jan 25 to Feb 19, a series of activities are scheduled to be held for visitors.

In the old downtown area, "Big Tangerine", moniker of a famous Chinese artist is expected to showcase his works in seven different places, including Taiping Road and Church Square.

At Vows Square, brilliant performances are also on schedule at a red wine party.

On Huangdao Road, there will be activities for promoting intangible cultural heritages, time-honored brands, creative cultural products, and fairs selling local specialties and flowers.

At the same time, musical events are expected to liven up the old downtown area by incorporating pop music elements into Shinan's traditional culture.

Furthermore, unmanned aerial vehicle performances will be displayed at Zhanqiao Pier to showcase the landmarks in Shinan and provide aerial views of the old downtown area.
