Shinan experienced a flourishing growth in cultural tourism in 2022. Shinan will continue modernizing the historic downtown area's construction while putting fresh energy into the growth of cultural tourism in 2023, much like how Shangjieli Beer Festival attracted so many people's attention and how Silver Fish Street made celebrities rush for pictures in 2022.

Shinan will dig deep into the historical and cultural components this year to create a fresh cultural mood. A book illuminating the history and culture of Shangjieli is anticipated to be published in 2023 and will be based on the intellectual property (IP) of Shangjieli urban culture.
At some point, Shinan will start a publicity campaign to highlight the distinctive culture of Shangjieli. A livestreaming platform will be created to tell Shinan's stories, with a focus on a variety of locations, such as Zhongshan road and Pichaiyuan.
Shinan is expected to also showcase cultural and artistic works in 2023 in addition to certain meticulously crafted performances, such as stage plays and music festivals. Shinan is anticipated to benefit from a more thriving cultural tourist business as its historical and cultural riches are to be more emphasized.
