Marvelous attractions along Qingdao Metro Line 4

Here are some locations that one should not miss while traveling along Qingdao Metro Line 4, which spans the city's historic downtown area.
The oldest structure in Shinan, Tianhou Temple, is located close to the Hall of the People Station, which marks the beginning of the subway line. The temple was constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) to pray for safe sailing and has evidence of Qingdao's traditions and history.
The temple is a building complex with a floor space of 4,000 square meters. Activities showcasing folk arts are also held here.

On Jiangsu Road, the most eye-catching building is the Qingdao Christian Church. The church is a typical German castle style building, consisting of a bell tower and an auditorium. The bell tower is 40 meters tall, which provides a good view of the sea in the distance.

Known as the birthplace of many Chinese branches of learning such as astronomy, seismology and oceanography, the Astronomical Observatory Hill Park was listed as one of the top 10 tourist attractions in Qingdao. At the same time, there are also many former residences of celebrities located at the foot of the hill.
