The 2022 Qingdao Wedding Culture Festival is to open in Qingdao's Shinan district on Dec 17. At the event, a series of activities are scheduled to take place at landmark areas, including the Qingdao International Sailing Center, Badaguan and the Catholic Church.

The Qingdao Wedding Culture Festival first opened in 2017, and before that, Qingdao had already been a famous city for wedding culture. Every year, thousands of couples visit Shinan to enjoy the intense wedding atmosphere and celebrate their love.

This year's wedding festival aims to promote Shinan as an ideal destination for wedding culture tourism. There were a number of related activities held before the event, including a wedding dress expo and love-themed music events, and there are more on the schedule.

In addition to some love-themed reading activities, paper cutting culture exhibitions and love film screenings, cultural creative products and wedding culture fairs will also take place during the event.

The list of top 10 most beautiful places for wedding photography in Qingdao will be released at Villa Anna, a villa with more than a century history and is located near the Catholic Church. The villa will also serve as the new site of Shinan's marriage registration office.
