Themed on "healing music and food for wellness", a music event was held in Shinan on Dec 7, which was also the beginning of the 21st solar term, Major Snow (Chinese: 大雪). The event was divided into two parts: the healing music performance and food therapy recommendations, which aimed to enlighten Shinan's residents by promoting traditional Chinese culture.

According to Wang Yuan, a violin teacher at Ocean University of China (OUC), listening to peaceful music is quite good for people's health, and can help people reduce their anxiety brought about by the pandemic and stressful work.

At the event, the concept of "Solar Term Regimen" was promoted, which encourages people to take different measures to maintain their health in different seasons. Healthy soup and tea were provided to visitors at the event.

The occasion is one of Shinan district's cultural tourism health events. The district has worked hard this year to promote the mix of exercise, rest, sightseeing, and cultural tourism. By doing this, Shinan aims to make the most of its cultural and tourist resources in order to develop a brand for cultural tourism and improve people's quality of life.
