Qingdao Underwater World

Qingdao Underwater World is near Lu Xun Park and Qingdao No 1 Bathing Beach. It consists of seven museums featuring jelly fish, seals, freshwater creatures, whales, ocean science and technology, and more.

Xiaoqingdao Park

Xiaoqingdao, or Little Qingdao, is located in Qingdao Bay and faces Huangdao district across the sea. It is also called Qindao Islet because the waves sound like a qin (stringed instrument).

The white lighthouse on the islet lighthouse is a landmark of Qingdao and was listed as a key cultural unit under State-level protection.

The Museum of the Former German Governor's House in Qingdao

The Museum of the Former German Governor's House in Qingdao was built in 1905 and was hailed as "a great work of architectural art that integrates various Eastern and Western cultural concepts" by famed Chinese architect Liang Sicheng.

Its collections include historical photos, bronze candlesticks, a colorful ceramic rooster, and an antique piano.
