The Lantern Festival, which marks the end of Spring Festival celebrations and falls on the 15th day in the first lunar month of the Chinese lunar calendar. 

This year, the festival fell on Feb 15 and Shinan district in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province celebrated it with various activities.

To enrich the lives of local residents, Qingdao Book City has introduced a variety of festival-themed activities such as riddle games, folk music, dance performances, and paper-cutting.
