The elegant and rippling melodies lingered in the air long after the curtain fell on Dec 25 at the instrument concert of best music written for films and other visual media – staged in the Shinan district of Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province – according to local media reports.

Music from great movies – including The Legend of 1900, Let the Bullets Fly and Frozen – evoked the compelling story lines of them, enchanting listeners with a rapturous audio-visual experience.

At the end of the concert, a delighted audience clapped along to the Christmas holiday favorite Jingle Bells.
