The Shinan district, located in Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province, is currently preparing to hold a photography competition – on the theme of A better life in a civilized Shinan – with award winners to have their works displayed and showcased in the district.

Ⅰ Civilized Shinan locals, with heart-warming and touching things going on right under their noses – such as volunteer services, respect for the elderly and the young doing good deeds for others.  

Ⅱ Harmonious community and neighborhood – with residents lending a hand to help others, environmental and sanitation improvements and other acts that reflect the community spirit.  

Ⅲ Fashionable and beautiful Shinan – ranging from attractive scenery, to skyscrapers or historical buildings, that show the economic and social development of the district.

Photography related to holography, still-lifes, landscapes, portraits and the environment.   

[Requirements]

The works should be submitted in JPG format and have a file size of not more than 1 megabyte, or 1 MB with captions. One candidate should submit no more than three pieces of work.
