A press conference on the fifth session of the Yangyin National Youth Art Show as a part of the Qingdao Music Season was held in Shinan district, Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, on July 27.  

The event reportedly is the first time that the Central Conservatory of Music stages a performance outside Beijing since 2017.

This year's event is divided into three sections: musical performance, lectures given by famous Chinese musicians, and professional musical training for local youth to help young people showcase their artistic talent.

A slew of brilliant performances will be rolled out during the event, including six high-quality concerts of instrumental and vocal music, 60 master classes provided by more than 30 experts and scholars.

In addition, Shinan also invited 174 famous experts, professors, and young singers and performers from the Central Conservatory of Music and other musical institutes nationwide to participate in reviews and training. Among them, 55 teachers will offer 451 training courses and 89 judges will review 107 performances.
