A big choral concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China brought strong voices and palpable excitement on June 13 to Wusi Square – literally, May 4th Square – located in the Shinan district of Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province.

Qingdao excellent Party representatives, role models, volunteers, as well as members of the public gathered together for the concert and patriotic literature event.

The affair caught the rapt attention of local residents and tourists, who keenly listened to a performance of an original song which made its debut there.
