The GH Jazz Band is scheduled to stage its "Happy Spring" jazz concert on April 30 in Shinan District – in the city of Qingdao in East China's Shandong province – according to local media reports.

To lift the local cultural scene and liven things up for its residents, this year Shinan is putting on a series of cultural public benefit performances, using the slogan "Fashionable Qingdao · Musical Shinan".

From international Morin Khuur master Chi Bulag to the GH Jazz Band, the performances will cover folk music, jazz and pop music. 

The performances are expected to bring a load of excitement to the locals, helping to lift their lives in the late springtime.
