Six entrepreneurs delivered keynote speeches at the 2020 Qingdao Shinan Entrepreneurs Conference held on Nov 10 in the Shinan district of Qingdao city -- in East China's Shandong province -- according to local media reports.

The event had the theme "Gathering in Shinan for a Better Future" and aimed to inspire  enterprises to grow bigger and stronger, as well as improve the quality and efficiency of development in Qingdao.

Zhang Wenfeng, founding partner and CEO of China Stone Industry Service Group, said the event attracted the participation of leading Chinese and international companies.

The CEO said there were three "marvelous" things about Shinan district. First, Shinan created 10 percent of Qingdao's GDP, using only with three parts per thousand of the city's land area. Second, it enjoyed exceptional advantages -- not only superb natural conditions and geographical advantages, but also historical and cultural influences which played a major role in its industrial development. Finally, Shinan had shown deep respect to local entrepreneurs, Zhang added.

Officials said Shinan district has been committed to creating a comprehensive and multi-dimensional development environment for businesses, rolling out precise and effective measures for enterprises in recent years.
