The first meeting of the Qindao Musicians Association of Shinan District was held at the Integrated Media Center of Shinan district, Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, on July 16.

Fu Rongyun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shinan district committee, and Yu Ying, representing the Publicity Department of the CPC of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee, jointly unveiled the certificate for the new association.

Thirty-four new members and 16 officers of the board were elected during the meeting.

The Shandong Musicians Association wrote a letter congratulating the Qindao Musicians Association on its establishment. The letter stated that Shinan was well-located and that its strong musical foundation played a crucial role in Qingdao's thriving art scene.
