A wide array of unique cultural and creative experimental activities entitled "Zhanshan embroidery club· meet intangible cultural heritage (湛山绣吧·相遇非遗)" has provided visitors with a diverse array of experiences related to intangible cultural heritage items, particularly embroidery, in Zhanshan neighborhood, Shinan district, Qingdao.

A series of 60 courses on traditional Chinese embroidery have been held at the club, giving visitors a chance to enjoy time-honored Chinese traditions and customs. 

Dong Xiuju, the head of the embroidery club, has accumulated many years of experience in embroidery and teaching. Her works have an elegant and beautiful style, and her teaching is meticulous and patient.

Another embroidery artist surnamed Dong also offers embroidery students a flexible teaching style and one-on-one guidance. The course focuses on various types of embroidery techniques.

The necessary embroidery tools and materials are provided at the embroidery club, and participants can keep their embroidered works after class.

Embroidery has been named a Chinese intangible cultural heritage item, and it dates back two to three thousand years. It is regarded as a treasure of Chinese culture.
