Dongying Yingcai Primary School in Dongying city, East China's Shandong province, warmly welcomed over 40 international students from Dongying Vocational Institute for a cultural exchange on Dec 18.

Guided by Chinese language instructors, the international students participated in primary school classes to experience the unique aspects of China's foundational education. During the cultural sharing session, representatives from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Yemen introduced their countries' festivals, customs, and cuisine through photos, videos, and props, speaking in heartfelt Chinese.

"The energy and enthusiasm of Chinese children inspired me, and their distinctive courses captivated me," said one Sudanese student.

This exchange provided a valuable bilingual platform, enriching campus culture and nurturing cross-cultural understanding. It allowed international students to experience the warmth and vitality of Chinese primary education, while offering Dongying children a glimpse of the world.

Dongying Vocational Institute will keep building bridges for cultural exchange, promoting mutual learning, and planting seeds of unity across campuses.
