At the factory of CSSC Haizhuang in the Dongying Economic and Technological Development Zone, an 8.5-megawatt offshore wind turbine, custom-built for the project in Tangshan, Hebei province, has just passed its final inspection and is ready for shipment.

At this factory, such massive turbine rolls off the line every two days.
With 20 years in the wind power industry, CSSC Haizhuang has perfected a seamless assembly process — from the main shaft to yaw and pitch systems — making production highly efficient.

"This batch includes 30 turbines, over 10 of which are already complete. We expect full delivery by January," said one employee.
"Orders are now scheduled into next year, covering projects in Hebei, Guangdong, and more. This year, we plan to produce 42 turbines, totaling 320 MW, with a value of 360 million yuan ($51.1 million),” he added.
Customization is key. Each turbine is designed for the unique wind conditions of its sea location, which also helps boost efficiency. At full capacity, a single turbine generates 8,500 kilowatt-hour per hour. With 4,000 effective hours annually, one turbine produces over 30 million kWh — saving around 10,000 metric tons of coal and cutting CO₂ emissions by roughly 26,000 tons each year.
Behind this rapid production is a complete industrial chain, including the nearby Guangli Port with two 10,000-ton berths ready for components.
From manufacturing to intelligent production, Dongying's turbines are turning sea winds into clean energy, lighting homes far and wide.
