The Tianning Temple Cultural Tourism Area, in the western part of Kenli district, Dongying, East China's Shandong province, is a place where culture, spirituality, and nature come together.

Covering about 100 hectares, it forms a key part of Tianning Lake Wetland Park and has become one of Dongying's signature attractions. The grand hall of Tianning Temple opened to visitors in 2013, and the site was soon recognized as a national 4A-level tourist attraction.

The attraction includes six zones which feature different functions. Tianning Temple itself is organized into three main zones: the temple architecture zone, featuring the grand hall, relic pagoda, and surrounding halls; the living service zone, with monks' quarters, guest rooms, and supporting facilities; and the Buddhist cultural promotion zone, which includes exhibition areas and a pedestrian street featuring Buddhist traditions.

The wider area offers even more to explore. Yihong River Park highlights Buddhist culture, while a Buddhist academy serves as a hub for study and exchange. Together, these spaces provide opportunities for both leisure and reflection.

Tianning Temple Cultural Tourism Area invites travelers to discover a place where heritage and modern vitality create a truly memorable journey.
