Dongying Vocational Institute in East China's Shandong province has launched its international cooperation and exchange brand, achieving notable results in vocational education for international students.
The college has promoted Yellow River culture by hosting events such as the "Chinese Bridge" program and the "Yellow River Culture Forum", which included international students from countries like Tunisia and Congo. These initiatives included immersive cultural courses like Chinese paper cutting, ancient architecture, and martial arts.

Through partnerships with institutions like Russia's Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, the college fosters international talent through its joint educational programs in petrochemical and construction engineering. It has also created a cross-disciplinary training model, integrating theory and practical skills, with an emphasis on international exchange.
Furthermore, Dongying Vocational Institute has expanded its global network, collaborating with 57 foreign universities and institutions. Faculty and students have participated in academic visits and research collaborations across 22 countries, promoting Chinese education standards abroad.
The Institute has also helped set up of overseas vocational training centers in countries like Kenya, Tunisia, and Malaysia, contributing to the international recognition of Chinese vocational education and strengthening global partnerships.
