Farmers are currently harvesting rapeseed in Yilong Experimental Area, according to local media on March 26.

Last year, to adjust the agricultural structure and increase farmers' incomes, the local government decided to plant rapeseed over 50,000 mu(3,333.33 hectares) of land in nine towns, including Dewo and Dingxiao.

The local agricultural department has played its part by promoting new farming techniques and efficient and standardized planting –– increasing yields and farmers' incomes.

Training for local farmers has also been provided by agricultural technicians, to teach the latest skills and help maximize profits earned from growing rapeseed.
