To attract more tourists and advance the tourism industry, the third tourism development conference will be held in Anlong county,Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture from Dec 18 to 20. 

A range of events are set to take place at the conference, such as photo exhibition, calligraphy exhibition, food festival, singing and dancing performances and commodity fair for local agricultural products.

Located at the conjunction of Guizhou province and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Anlong county enjoys the reputation of "village of lotus blossoms".

Boasting more than 200 varieties of lotuses, the county attracts people from all around China with some 30 lotus themed parks and attractions. 

As a county with a history of thousands of years, Anlong takes great advantages not only of its natural resources, but also of the rich historical culture. 

Zhang Zhidong, a famous politician in the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) once spent his childhood in the county, leaving many legends. 

Anlong also promote outdoor sports industry through holding series of sports competitions such as hiking, climbing and cave exploring.

Now, Anlong powers its economy by upgrading the industry in all aspects, and attempts to expand the influence of ecological environment by building several national parks in the future.
