To promote the embroidery culture of Bouyei ethnic group, 260 seamstresses from across Guizhou province showcased their craftsmanship at the Bouyei Cultural Event held in Ceheng county, Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture on Nov 25.

Through years of holding series of competitions and events, Ceheng county actively promotes the brand of Bouyei embroidery to promote the ethnic culture and fight poverty.

In order to create more jobs for Bouyei women, local government has established an embroidery workshop to exhibit, produce and sell embroidery products.
