The 2017 International Mountain Half Marathon was held in Zhenfeng county, Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture on Oct 29.

More than 2,000 runners from across China gathered in the county to enjoy the passionate race including three events: a mini marathon (five kilometers), a 10-km marathon and a half marathon.

Started from Fengmao Square, runners enjoyed beautiful scenery along the racing track and finally reached the end at International Camping Base of Shancha River. 

Li Juhua, An Qin and Zhang Shasha respectively won the first, second and third prizes of women's half marathon. Zhu Kun, Zhu Jiali and Hanzhi won the first, second and third prizes of men's half marathon.

"In recent years, Zhenfeng took advantage of rich cultural resources and unique tourism resources to integrate culture and sports with tourism and has made great progress in poverty alleviation," said Meng Lisheng, Zhenfeng's deputy Party secretary, at the opening ceremony. 

Lu Chikun, deputy county mayor of Zhenfeng also gave a speech in the awarding ceremony to invite more people to visit and invest in Zhenfeng. 

Zhenfeng has successfully held a lot of important races including International Conference of Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports and International Camping Conference of Shancha River, fully showcasing the new image of "Healthy Zhenfeng" to the world.
