The performance of the Bouyei wedding attracted a lot of visitors. "The wedding is quite special and interesting," said Zhuang Xinyu, a visitor from Taiwan. 

The traditions of the Bouyei ethnic group are well preserved in Zhexiang town and the local government tries to promote them through different festivals and cultural events, according to Deputy Town Chief of Zhexiang Wei Zhengjun.
