A fishing competition was held in Ceheng county, Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture, Guizhou province, on July 8, drawing over 100 fishing enthusiast from Guizhou, Yunnan and the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region to participate.

Cehueng county held the event to encourage people to embrace nature and to build its tourism brand in the region. Those catching the most fish during the competition will win between 600 yuan ($88) and 10,000 yuan. 

"Fishing is interesting and healthy because people are immersed in nature and inhaling fresh air," said Wang Xiaoxing, a participant. 

Surrounded by mountains, the forest coverage rate in Ceheng county is quite high. The county was even nominated for the list of "2017 100 deep-breathing towns" by the China State Economics Association on March 18 this year.
