13 Qianxinan towns among national important

The Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture had 13 towns within its borders listed as "national important towns".
Selected by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Development and Reform Commission, 3,675 towns in China have been praised in terms of population, regional advantages, economic potential, rural planning and innovation in science and technology.
The national important towns will receive support in the form of investment policies, land and projects. Guizhou province altogether has 136 towns included in the program.
The 13 Qianxinan listed towns are Weishe in Xingyi, Tunjiao, Baling, Yuzhang in Xingren county, Qingshan in Pu'an county, Longchang, Zhexiang and Baiceng in Zhenfeng county, Zhexiang town in Wangmo county, Pomei in Ceheng county and Longguang, Puping and Xinqiao in Anlong county.
