The Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture has organized more than 1,500 vehicles for students to attend the gaokao, China's national college entrance exam, to be held nationwide from June 7 to 9.
A ceremony was held in Xingyi city on June 2 for the distribution of special stickers to mark 1,500 volunteer buses, taxis and private cars that will provide transportation services for students over the exam days.

Students can take cars bearing the stickers for free, and even book a car in advance if they live far from the testing sites.
The local government launches the public service every May to ensure convenient transportation and show support for high-achieving students, allowing them to remain fully-focused on the important exam.
Government officials have also called for drivers to avoid using horns, and give way to volunteer cars over the exam days.
