To meet the increasing demands of passengers, tourist-dedicated trains have been arriving at Xingyi Station in Guizhou province one after another since Feb 25, bringing tourists from Guangxi and Guangdong province to Xingyi, capital of the Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture.

The scenery of the Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture is wondrous, including the fantastic karst landscapes of Wanfeng Forest, Malinghe Canyon and the “24 turns” scenic spot.                                                           

The tourism boom has rapidly developed into a pillar industry of the autonomous prefecture, seeing more than 19 million tourists in 2015 and an income of 14 billion yuan ($2.03 billion). An income of 24 billion yuan in 2016 has inspired the autonomous prefecture to invest 14.8 billion yuan into over 90 new tourism projects, including improvements to the rural infrastructure.
