The tea farmers of Haizi town were eager to get busy picking tea leaves as the warmth of spring arrived in Anlong county.

The county has been encouraging local farmers to plant tea trees on reclaimed land as a method to improve their income. Approximately 500 mu (33.33 hectares) of lands are now planted with tea trees ready for farmers to make the lucrative spring harvest.
