Wanfeng Lake was formed as a result of the first-rate power station of Tiansheng Bridge, a national key project. It is part of Maling Gorge, the national-level scenic spot. It got its name as it lies in Wanfeng Forest to the north. 

The 176 square kilometer lake had been formed by the end of 1998. The main route around it stretches 144 km. With a volume of 10.8 billion cubic meters, Wanfeng Lake includes over 40 multi-bays and 12 separated sub-lakes, forming a magic landscape of water in mountains and mountains in water.

The modern power station Tiansheng Bridge Hydropower Station was built with an investment of over 10 billion yuan. It is one of the sources of electricity transmission from the west to the east. The grand Wanfeng Lake was formed by a dam 1,200 meters in length and 200 meters in height.

Route to the Scenic Spot: take the bus at Xingyi South Station; or take the special tourism bus by the side of Xingyi Square

Ticket: 60 yuan/person (including the admission ticket and the boat ticket)

Open: 10:00-10:30 (if there are too many people, an extra boat will be scheduled to depart at 12:00)
