The prefecture plans to set up 36 modern agricultural demonstration parks, among which provincial key parks account for 20. The prefecture is embarking on the journey to establish a special traditional Chinese medicine industry with an emphasis on myotonin, honeysuckle, and orchids. They are also helping foster ecologically friendly animal husbandry with a focus on goats, beef, and green-egg-laying hens as well as fine agriculture centered on flowers, edible fungus, and vegetables. On top of that, there are also efforts to support economic forestry such as walnut and camellia oleifera production.
