The park was approved by the Guizhou government in 2011 and had a planned area of 7.9 square kilometers in 2015, including 6.30 square kilometers as construction land and 4.64 square kilometers for industry. At the same time, a long-term development plan was made for 2015-2025, where the planned area will reach 11.20 square kilometers. The park will strive to achieve more than 20 billion yuan in output value by 2020. The industry park consists of coal, coal power, import and export processing, logistics, and metallurgy sections.
Project
Infrastructure: The park has a water supply facility with 6,000 tons in daily capacity; 35KVA and 110KVA transformer substations, with another 220KVA facility under construction; drainage facility has basically been finished; and communication infrastructure has been installed throughout the whole park.
Project development: the park has 44 projects in operation and they cover raw coal washing, chemical production, ferroalloy smelting, storage, and logistics. Main projects include ferroalloy production lines with a total annual capacity of 100,000 tons, coal washing production lines with a total annual capacity of 20 million tons, storage and logistics centers with a total annual capacity of 3 million tons, a 10,000-ton-per-year sulfuric acid production facility, and a 100,000-ton-per-year calcium production line.
The park now has eight projects under construction, and they cover coal, coking and electricity integration, ferroalloy smelting capacity expansion and technical renovation, storage and logistics. Major projects include a 140,000-ton ferroalloy production line and a 3-milion-ton-per-year logistics center.
Two 350,000-kilowattpower plants, a 1-milllion ferroalloy coal power and metallurgy integration project, and a 60,000-kilowatt low temperature power generating project.
