The park consists of Zhengtun, Lutun and Wantun industrial areas, with a total planned area of 31.7 square kilometers. Zhengtun-Lutun covers an area of 16.55 square kilometers and Wantun covers an area of 15.1 square kilometers. 

The industrial park focuses on molten aluminum and aluminum product process, metallurgy and logistics. Aluminum processing facilities with total capacity of 1.5 million tons have been planned and will sit in Zhengtun's Qianfeng, Lutun's Yanjiawan and Wantun's Mopan Mountain. 

At the 6th Guizhou Tourism Development Conference, a bunch of projects settled in the park, including Guangxi Xinghe's 2-billion-yuan aluminum foil processing center, Guangdong Dali Shengtai's 2-billion-yuan aluminum foil processing center, Shenzhen Xinxinghe's 1.5-billion-yuan ultra-precision aluminum processing operation, and Zhongde Environmental Protection's 3.6-billion-yuan refuse incineration-based electricity generation project. Investment on fixed assets surpassed 20 billion yuan between 2011 and 2015.
