The park sits northwest of Xingyi City at the junction of Guizhou, Yunnan, and Guangxi. 

It enjoys an excellent location and convenient transport. The park has two train stations, and the Weishe rail station is the biggest stop along the Nanning-Kunming railway. 

The park has a planned area of 7.9 square kilometers, including 6.3 square kilometers for construction use. It focuses on coal chemicals, metallurgy, and logistics development. It has five industry sectors and will achieve more than 20 billion yuan in industry output value by 2020. 

A total of 52 enterprises settled in the park in 2012, with more than 2.6 billion yuan in above-scale output value. Major projects include Xingyi Jinguang Coking Company's coal-coking-electricity project, Hualun Group's electric plant project, Yunnan Dali Titanium Industry's high titanium slag production line, and Jiayu Industry and Trade's cleaned coal project.
